Some sessions carry an extra layer of meaning, and these maternity photos at Eagle Creek Park definitely did. After photographing Hannah and Nicholas’s engagement session and wedding, getting to document this season as they prepare to become parents felt incredibly special.
We met at Eagle Creek Park on a beautiful spring evening just after a thunderstorm rolled through, and the entire park felt fresh, peaceful, and glowing.
The storm clouds cleared just in time for the most gorgeous sunset light. Everything looked extra vibrant after the rain. The trails, the greenery, and the soft golden light filtering through the trees made the entire evening feel almost dreamlike.
For Hannah and Nicholas, Eagle Creek Park wasn’t just a pretty location. We took photos along the same trails Hannah still runs regularly, even during pregnancy. As an elite runner, these paths are deeply familiar to her, which made the session feel even more personal and meaningful.
One of my favorite parts of the session was watching these two simply be together in a space that already holds so much of their everyday life. The combination of fresh spring air, post-storm skies, and warm sunset light created the perfect setting for maternity photos at Eagle Creek Park.
Hannah looked absolutely radiant, and the calm, steady connection between the two of them made every image feel effortless. It’s always such a gift to continue documenting milestones for couples long after their wedding day. I cannot wait to see them step into parenthood together.
