How to get started:
Forget the days of wrangling your little ones for a structured, posed photo session. I believe in capturing your family in a documentary style that keeps the stress level down and allows everyone to be themselves.
As a mama myself, I know what it's like to want photos that document this season of life with young children, and my family clients know they will be working with someone who understands and relates with kids and parents alike. I will help gently pose and document your beautiful family, remain patient, and make the experience enjoyable and memorable.
You can expect a collaborative photo experience as we work together to create an outfit look that fits your family well, as well as locations that allow you to relax and fit the vision you have for photos.

Family Photographer
I'm relaxed and calming, and very easy going. Clients say I help them feel relaxed and like they can be themselves. For family sessions, I work to ensure you feel a part of the planning process for outfits and locations that feel like you. During the session, I offer gentle posing prompts that will generate authentic reactions from you and your family. For newborn sessions, I take a lifestyle/documentary approach and while I love how those studio/posed newborn shots look, they just aren't my style. I work to capture what it feels like to welcome a newborn into the home instead. Families are allowed to get silly, and I know kids might need to run around for a bit during the session, and that's ok! You won't feel any pressure from me, and we'll roll with whatever you and your littles need. But don't worry, I'll make sure we are getting plenty of amazing photographs that tell your story well.
What's it like to work with you?
As many as turn out and aren't duplicates! I don't like to put an exact number on the amount of images you'll receive since every wedding and shoot is different, but I select all the images that turn out and make sure you aren't getting a bunch of the exact same shot, and I include some black and white copies. It usually ends up being around 100 images per hour of shooting give or take.
How many photos will I get in my gallery?
I use a gallery website called Pixieset to send and store your images. They will come to you in a pretty little email within 30 days of your session, where you can access, download and print your images all in one spot! I will answer any questions you have about printing and downloading, but I use Pixieset because it's so dang simple and user-friendly.
How will you send me my images?
After living in Indianapolis for 11 years, my family moved near the South Bend area to be closer to loved ones in June of 2021. I consider myself a traveling photographer and serve multiple markets, including South Bend/Michiana, Indianapolis, Southwest Michigan, Southern Indiana, and beyond! My heaviest markets are the South Bend/Michiana and Indianapolis areas and I love everything about them! Travel is applied for destinations outside of the South Bend/Michiana area.
Where Are YOu Located and Do You Charge tRavel FEes?
Yep! When you receive your gallery, you'll also get a print release that gives you permission to print and share images! I know what it's like to want to show off photos of my family to friends, and all I ask is that when you post you don't throw a filter on the already edited images before posting to Instagram or Facebook and that you tag me too so more amazing clients can find me!
Do I have permission to post and print my photos?
Alright! If you like what you're hearing and you want to book, then fill out the inquiry form or email me and then I'll get a brochure sent to you with my package pricing and details! If you want to have a call or Facetime to ask more questions, we'll make that happen. After that you can reserve your date with a retainer payment that will go towards the balance of the package price, and I'll have us sign a contract to make it official.
How do I book you?
While I can't control the weather, I can be super prepared! Thanks to living in the Midwest, I've shot in every weather condition you can think of, sometimes all on one day,! I always keep tabs on the weather as your session approaches, and if it looks like things could be iffy, I offer to reschedule at no charge to you.
