When Emily reached out to inquire about a mama/daughter session, I was so excited! She wanted to use a local coffee shop or something similar, and I knew just the place. The Gallery Pastry Shop here in SoBro is a gorgeous setting, with handmade furniture, artistic design and decor, and pops of modern and vintage details all throughout. The shop makes *amazing* french macarons, and other beautiful pastries, and is the perfect place to sit and slow down over a drink and dessert.
I reached out the The Gallery, and they graciously allowed us to use their location for our session. Since I love the lifestyle photography feel, Emily and Jada were able to just come and enjoy some hot drinks and sweets together, and we got some beautiful poses in between. We laughed a lot, had so much fun, and Emily let me try their pastries, and I about died they were so good!
I love family so much, and these two have such a strong bond that I could notice right away. Jada is a beautiful girl, and it was obvious she loves her mama so much. And Emily is the picture of classy lady, with gorgeous blue eyes and such a strong love for her daughter.
It was such a special time being with these girls, and I loved our session so much! Enjoy some of my favorite shots below!
