The Greenwood family is full of life and love, and they are all overflowing with passion and warmth. I met Sarah at a local group for mama’s, and have gotten to know her a bit more the past few years. She is one of the kindest and most gentle women I know, and when you talk with her, you can tell how much she loves her family.
When Sarah approached me about taking their family photos, I was so excited. The Greenwoods have 7 kiddos, and I knew from meeting them how much life and fun they brought wherever they went. We met in a favorite park of mine, and spent awhile just hanging out and making some fun memories.
I let the older kids help me hold my diffuser and reflectors, and they would help me get the littlest ones to look and smile. If you know me at all, you know that my type of people are the beautifully original and normal people who make up this gorgeous world. I love authentic, messy, real, and free. So when I got 7 kids and 2 adults in front of my camera, I knew that I would get all of these things, and friends, it made my heart soar. This family gave me all the feels, and while I was editing their photos, I starting getting teary-eyed a few times just remembering their love and warmth. Seriously folks, this family is the real deal.
At the end of our session, I asked Sarah and Aaron to step aside and took some sweet ones of just them. I always love to pull the parents aside and give them some one-on-one time just the two of them. Sarah and Aaron were full of deep love and regard, and when they looked at each other, I felt like I was looking at them how they must have been when they first fell in love. After we wrapped up and I sent some sneak peeks the next day, I told Sarah that I could tell how much she and Aaron love each other, and she replied “I kinda like him.” 🙂 🙂
