When I first met Kimberly and Wil, they were so kind and warm, the sweetest couple. Their personalities are different but go so well together and you can tell that they love each other so much just being around them. I loved getting to know them and I’m still honored that they chose me to photograph their wedding day.
It was a cold February day with clear skies, the day started with Kimberly getting ready at the house she shared with friends pre-wedding. Her dress was an elegant lace covered halter top with a light ruching. Kimberly and Wil chose classic colors, grey suits and blue ties for the groomsmen with knee length purple dresses for her bridesmaids. In her bouquet there were white and red roses with accents of blue.
These booklovers had their first look in the Central Library in downtown Indianapolis and it went so perfectly. Kimberly gave Wil the sweetest gift and they shared so many sweet moments on this day.
Wil and Kimberly chose the Statehouse for their venue and what a great choice, the Statehouse had incredible marble columns, beautifully designed flooring and a classy cinched fabric backdrop. During this sweet ceremony they took communion together, promised themselves to one another and sealed it with a kiss.
After the ceremony their reception was held at the Northside Events and Social Club, it was filled with food, fun and celebration of this amazing couple. They had a bubble exit before heading off into their future adventures.
Kimberly and Wil, I’m sure you never thought the world would be swept with a crazy pandemic in your first year of marriage but if you can make it through 2020, I think you can make it through anything. I wish you both the absolute best. Thank you for chosing me to be a part of your special day.
