On the Blog this week is Ellie & Danny’s Engagement session! I remember meeting them for coffee and talking about their wedding day, and getting to work with them through this year for their engagement photos and wedding day has been such a wonderful experience.
For their engagement session last fall, we had such great weather and even better locations. One of my favorite things about Indy is all the local spots and neighborhoods that can be really amazing backdrops for photos. We started shooting their session in SoBro near Locally Grown Gardens, and near Half Liter BBQ. This is one of my very favorite areas to shoot in since there is so much variety, and on the plus side, it’s really close to where I live!
By the end of their session we were on campus at Marian University, which is their old stomping grounds and where it all began. It’s honestly a beautiful gem in the city and it was so fun to explore with them!
I love getting to be a part of my Clients’ journeys and it’s always nice to start with engagement sessions and end with their big day. Speaking of, I just shot their wedding in September, and I can’t wait to share their wedding blog with you soon!
