Ellie and Danny got married on a lovely September day surrounded by their friends and family. The beautiful Little Flower Catholic Church here in Indianapolis made an incredible setting for these two, and was the same place Ellie’s own parents and grandparents got married years before.
Ellie’s beautiful v-neck BHLDN dress set the tone for the creamy, gorgeous details in every part of their day, and the flowers from Where Pigs Fly & Such had all the best touches from the bridal flowers all the way to the gorgeous greenery touches at the garden reception. These two had an amazing bridal party style, with mix and matched bridesmaid dresses, and classic black tuxedos for the guys.
This couple chose to work with Kait from It’s Kee Events to coordinate their day, and I can’t recommend her enough. As a photographer, I love staying organized for the photo timeline, and when there is a planner or coordinator present, that makes all the vendors and their jobs run so smoothly, and it allows the couple to really enjoy their day. We had time for photos around the church and then at Lockerbie Square before heading onto Ellie’s grandmother’s home for a backyard garden reception. Every detail was beautiful, intentional, and thoughtful, and the party was so much fun to photograph. Instead of a wedding cake, Ellie and Danny opted for an ice cream bar from Brics, and that was such a fun and unique touch! I love seeing couples choose details for their day that reflect them, and ice cream instead of cake was one of those things for this couple.
