The Monaghan Family | Indianapolis Family Photo Session | South Bend Photographer

When Autumn reached out about a family photo session in Indianapolis, I loved hearing about her and her husband and daughter. Family photo sessions are always so dear to my heart because that’s how I got started in photography and I have kiddos of my own so I know the importance of documenting these early years with kids.

We met near Autumn and Shane’s house at Central State, one of Indy’s many beautiful locations and where Cafe Mansion is located. Against the brick backdrops, the mansion’s iron fencing and teal front door, we started with one of their family photo outfits and moved to a few spots.

We finished their session in Fountain Square, the neighborhood they used to live in and one of my favorite spots in Indy to take photos and got some great spots for their second look. P.S. please pay attention to their sneakers in the second look! Hellllllo cool kicks!

Families: remember that you can make your photos so unique to you. You can choose locations that you want, no matter if they are in a park or field, a parking garage, getting ice cream together, or some of your favorite spots around town. Have fun with it and pick the spots you love.
