One of my favorite things is participating in styled shoots, and when I got the chance to shoot on the gorgeous Oval Beach, I jumped at the chance. This lakefront elopement was so gorgeous, with a lacy, tulle dress and bead trim, pastel wedding bouquet florals, a long wedding veil, and wedding tablescape touches in blues and sea colors. The sandy beach made a gorgeous backdrop with Lake Michigan on the horizon, and this couple was so stunning to work with. Being a wedding photographer in the Midwest, it can be a challenge to navigate the constant-changing light, but this shoot gave me a chance to play with light, and get a bit more editorial midwest wedding photos.
