David & Nicole: Goshen, Indiana Engagement Session

This Goshen, Indiana Engagement Session was full of fall and whimsy

For their Goshen, Indiana engagement session, I met David and Nicole at some cute spots. I loved this session so much! We met in front of the Goshen Courthouse to start, then walked along downtown Goshen to find a few more spots. Fall in Indiana is so beautiful and we had some nice colors to work with.

They are fans of Harry Potter and Star Wars

These two are huge Harry Potter fans, so we incorporated their wands for a few shots. Being Star Wars fans as well, they broke out some light sabers for a second location. We headed to our second location at Oxbow Park for some gorgeous wooded backdrops. They wanted to get some natural landscape shots, so we moved around the beautiful park.

Engagement Sessions help me get to know my couples before their wedding day

Engagement sessions are one of my favorite ways to get to know my couples. I can see how they interact with one another, and what posing prompts they like. It helps them feel really comfortable on their wedding day. In order to prep for an engagement session, I send out a brief questionnaire to get to know the couple. I use that to help them plan meaningful locations, pick music they love, and assist with outfit suggestions.
