Molly and Brandon met me at one of their favorite places in the Indy area for their engagement session in Speedway, Indiana. We met in Speedway because it a place they love for the racing traditions that are meaningful to them. It was so fun seeing the brewery they love to visit, and even getting to see a couple Indy cars!
It was Carb Day at the IMS track
While it was a rainy Carb day, that didn’t stop people from coming out and enjoying the race weekend festivities, and the main street in Speedway was blocked off for the fun. Molly and Brandon enjoy Carb day traditions together, and we got to walk around the main street of Speedway for some fun photos. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway mural and checkered flags speckled the photos. Live music was playing and it was such a fun atmosphere for their engagement session.
We grabbed beers at Daredevil Brewing Co.
Daredevil Brewing Co. is one of the spots Molly and Brandon love to visit, and they had a special race weekend draft on tap. We grabbed some drinks and enjoyed the live music while we took photos here and there. Out back behind the brewery was a beer truck, which made for some awesome photos as well.
They both live in Alaska now
Both Molly and Brandon are from Indiana, but after Molly found a job in Alaska, Brandon followed her up there and moved just this summer. They’ll be living such an adventurous life, and I got the feeling Alaska is a perfect fit for their vibe. I loved hearing about Molly’s job and the life they are excited to build up there!
They are planning a fall wedding in Indianapolis
I’m so excited for their fall wedding in indianapolis! They will be getting married at Literhouse in Sobro, which will make for such a unique and fun location. Half-Liter shares the back end of the building, and is one of my most favorite BBQ spots in Indy! I love the whole chill vibe of their location and can’t wait for their wedding!
We ended their session with some fun truck shots
Brandon is a mechanic and also races trucks, so we finished out their engagement session with some romantic shots in front of his riding truck. I loved everything about this session and loved how relaxed and comfortable Molly and Brandon are together.
