Sam and Pete’s wedding at St. Mark Catholic Church and Biltwell Event Center in Indianapolis was so gorgeous. They got married on a beautiful September day in Indianapolis, surrounded by their friends and family.

Getting Ready Photos at the Omni Severin Hotel

The Omni Severin Hotel is nestled in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, and made a perfect getting ready location for Sam and Pete in their respective suites. We captured detail shots of their wedding details and mementos, as well as candids with Sam and her bridesmaids and Pete with his groomsmen.

A Ceremony at St. Mark Catholic Church

Choosing the church they call home for their ceremony, St. Mark Catholic Church in Indianapolis was a beautiful and sacred spot for their wedding ceremony. With the rites and holy elements for their Catholic ceremony, Sam and Pete said I Do in front of their friends and family while honoring their faith together. Sam’s dress and long veil was so beautiful in the space, and Pete looked stunning in his black tuxedo. Matching the groom, the groomsmen wore black tuxedos, and the bridesmaids looked lovely in dark green dresses.

Wedding party and couple photos at White River State Park

We made our way to White River State Park and the Canal Walk to document wedding party and couple photos after their ceremony. These locations have some lovely spots for photos, and the sun shone for their beautiful photos. The Canal Walk, State Museum, and White River State Park are some of my favorite spots for wedding party photos in Indianapolis.

Cocktails and details at Biltwell

Choosing the Biltwell Event Center for their stunning reception space, guests were welcomed with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the patio space in the fall golden hour light. The reception space was decorated with lush florals, candles, and stunning table settings for the plated dinner. Sam and Pete were able to join their guests for drinks and bites, and mingled with their friends and family.

Dinner and Dancing at Biltwell

With a gorgeous plated dinner by Hoaglin Catering and Biltwell Event Center, guests enjoyed dinner and music, followed by dancing. The live band, Ripple Effect Band, provided the most amazing dancing tunes for guests and the couple to dance the night away.

The final touch of our photo coverage was photographing sunset photos on the patio of the Biltwell Event Center. Sam and Pete enjoyed stepping away for a few moments to themselves while we got sunset shots, and they resulted in such beautiful images.
