I recently had the honor of photographing this South Bend Newborn Session for Shareen and her sweet new addition to their family. It was such a beautiful session and I loved it so much!

Their family home was the perfect setting for this newborn session

With my style of lifestyle newborn photos, an in-home setting was perfect for this South Bend newborn session. Shareen’s family lives in a gorgeous historic home in a beautiful area of South Bend, Indiana. I did a maternity session with them not too long ago, and you can look at those photos here.

The home setting is so great because it’s a comfortable area for photos, and the family already feels that much more comfortable for their session.

We took solo shots of baby H and full family photos

I love to make sure I get solo shots of baby by themselves during newborn sessions, and then we work to get full family shots as well. Baby H was so adorable as he posed on the bed in the main bedroom for some solo shots. Then the whole family got cozy together. It was so sweet.

When I have a toddler in the mix for family sessions, I do take their lead a lot for photos, not pushing them into poses if they don’t want, and shooting a lot of beautiful candid moments. Big brother was so much fun and I got a lot of sweet shots of him for the session.

There were some bonus family groupings for this South Bend Newborn Session

Some family was in town to help Shareen and her husband with their newest addition, so I had the honor of photographing some grandparents with Baby H. It was so sweet to be able to add in multi-generational groupings for a few shots as well. What a bonus to be able to shoot such beautiful relationships for this session!
