Amanda and Michael’s wedding at Crowne Plaza Union Station in Indianapolis was a gorgeous and glamorous wedding day. These two have been such an incredible joy to work with and I was so happy for their wedding.

They got ready at Crowne Plaza Union Station

Listed in the National Register of Historic Places and located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Conference Center at Historic Union Station is a gorgeous venue. With ornate details, wooden accents, and a historic feel, it made a beautiful backdrop for this wedding.

Amanda got ready with all of her bridesmaids in a large, open room with beautiful windows. She had matching Pjs for her girls, and her bridal details were so gorgeous to photograph. Wearing a beautiful satin gown, Amanda looked stunning for her day.

Michael got ready in some adjacent rooms, and there were some lovely backdrops in the hotel for his photos. Looking sharp in a black tux, his simple but elegant look fit the day perfectly.

They exchanged letters before the ceremony

Prior to their ceremony, Amanda and Michael exchanged heartfelt letters, which the videographers documented for them to look back on. It was such an intimate and beautiful touch for their wedding day. I love seeing when couples exchange letters or gifts on their wedding day, and these moments were so special.

A beautiful ceremony at St. John The Evangelist Church

One of the most stunning churches in downtown Indianapolis is St. John The Evangelist Church with it’s spires and gorgeous sanctuary. With a traditional Catholic ceremony, Amanda and Michael saw one another for the first time in the beautiful aisle.

Moving through the sacred ceremony, they shared their vows and the marriage rites together in front of their friends and family looking on.

Wedding Party Photos at War Memorial & The Omni Severin

Hopping on a trolley with the wedding party, we made our way to War Memorial for a few photos. We loved working with the full group and then splitting up to photograph Michael with his groomsmen, and Amanda with her bridesmaids. Finishing with couple photos, we made our way back to the trolley.

Cocktail Hour at Crowne Plaza Union Station

The team from Christina Burton Events put together a gorgeous set up at Crowne Plaza Union Station for Amanda and Michael. While the wedding party had a private cocktail hour on an upper level, guests arrived to beautiful decor, welcome shots, and delicious appetizers and drinks. With live music playing, guests mingled and visited. The reception decor was absolutely stunning for this wedding at Crowne Plaza Union Station. Glamorous tables full of fresh florals, ornate glassware and perfectly folded napkins, dotted with candlelight, this reception space was so amazing.

With cheers from guests as they made their grand entrance, Amanda and Michael cut their stunning cake, shared champagne, and enjoyed a heartfelt welcome from Amanda’s father.

After dinner, the couple shared a stunning choreographed first dance, then parent dances, and lovely toasts from their maid of honor and best man. Finishing the night with live music, drinks, late night snacks and dancing, what an amazing party they had!

I absolutely loved working with Amanda and Michael for their beautiful wedding, and I wish all the best to them!
