When Effy inquired about elopement photos in South Bend, Indiana, I was so excited! I absolutely love more intimate wedding celebrations, and this was such a beautiful celebration to photograph.

The couple met for a first look in front of the courthouse

On a sunny Friday morning, Steve and Effy met for their first look in front of the St. Joe county courthouse in South Bend, Indiana. Steve wore a gray suit with a yellow tie, and Effy wore a chic high neck gown with a gorgeous vintage style veil.

I loved seeing these two meet for their first look moments before they would go into the courthouse and have their ceremony.

Because I was not able to photograph the ceremony inside the courthouse, I waited outside for Effy and Steve and was able to capture their exit. It was so much fun seeing them come out of the courthouse full of happiness and joy, post wedding!

South Bend Indiana Elopement Photos

After some initial elopement photos, we took some additional couple photos around downtown South Bend. Then we moved on to Howard Park for some other photos of the beautiful couple.
