A Southwest Michigan Wedding

Kristin and Andrew got married at a beautiful venue, Lakeside Inn, for their Southwest Michigan wedding this spring. I loved their day so much, and how chill and laid back it was!

This couple wasn’t big on formal and super-posed images, so we took a slightly more documentary/lifestyle approach to their day. Kristin and Andrew got ready in their rooms at the Lakeside Inn with their closest friends and family present.

The Lakeside Inn had so many beautiful spots nestled on its grounds. From the historic building itself to the views overlooking Lake Michigan across the small street. Every spot was so gorgeous!

An outdoor Ceremony and Cocktail Hour on the porch

After an intimate and meaningful outdoor ceremony for this Southwest Michigan Wedding, Kristin and Andrew enjoyed cocktail hour with their guests. Drinks were flowing, snacks were plentiful, and guests mingled in the front yard of the Inn, enjoying the wide, long front porch.

Dinner and Dancing

Enjoying dinner, dessert and dancing, guests celebrated with Kristin and Andrew for the rest of the night. I loved seeing how much fun all the guests had dancing and enjoying drinks for the evening. The venue had a really neat closed in porch area where dancing occurred, and it was such an intimate, fun vibe!

Sunset Photos on Lake Michigan

Walking down to the beach near the end of the night, we got some really lovely blue hour photos as a storm approached on the horizon. Michigan is such a beautiful and natural setting!
