A New Buffalo Engagement Session

I love a good beach session, so it was so much fun to work with Megan and Ashtin for their New Buffalo engagement session recently. I love New Buffalo, and it has so many lovely backdrops for photos.

A classic look for the couple

When choosing outfits for your engagement session, I love to recommend earthy neutrals as they tend to showcase you and your partner over busy prints and bold colors. Megan chose a delicate strapless satin ivory dress, and Ashtin wore a cream top and light brown pants. Since they were at the beach, they opted to go barefoot, which I loved.

Sunset Photos for this New Buffalo Engagement Session

We began their session in the dunes area of New Buffalo beach, but then chased the sun down to water as the session went on. We worked in to them dipping their toes in the water, and I absolutely loved how the light kept changing.

I’m so excited for their wedding next year at Hidden Vineyard Wedding Barn. This couple was so much fun to work with, and I’m so happy to have them as one of my amazing couples!
