This celebration at Mavris in downtown Indianapolis was everything. Afew summer sprinkles, heartfelt touches (including their sweet pup, Finley!), and one of the most fun dance parties I’ve ever seen. Michael and Emily’s day was the perfect example of personal details and timeless style merged into an elegant day.
From the very beginning, Emily and Michael infused their day with thoughtful details that reflected their personalities. Their dog, Finley, made appearances throughout—from décor touches to little customized details that made guests smile. And one of my favorite parts? The wedding cake was baked by the bride herself. What a personal and unforgettable way to share something special with everyone they love.
One of the best things about a wedding at the Mavris is the flexibility of the space. The day brought a few light sprinkles of rain, which meant we got to use both the indoor and outdoor areas of the venue for portraits. The exposed brick and industrial-chic vibe indoors paired beautifully with the lush greenery and city views outdoors, giving Michael and Emily the best of both worlds.
After a heartfelt ceremony and dinner, the reception quickly turned into one unforgettable party. The dance floor at Mavris is always a highlight, and this night was no exception—friends and family filled the floor, and the energy never let up. It was the perfect ending to this classy summer wedding at Mavris in Indianapolis that still knew how to have fun.
