Crystal and Louie had the most gorgeous South Bend vow renewal, and it was such an honor photographing their celebration. Surrounded by their family and close friends, they celebrated with joy and style as they committed again to one another.
Getting Ready Photos
Getting ready at the hotel adjoining the Gillespie Center in South Bend, Crystal had her daughters and granddaughters assisting her, while Louie got ready with his sons and grandsons. It was the perfect setting for the classy vibe of this amazing couple, and just a short walk to the courtyard for more photos.
First Moments
Celebrating 25 years of marriage with a vow renewal, these first moments together after getting ready were really special. I loved seeing the comfortable way in which Crystal and Louie interacted for photos since they had such a rich foundation already. And yet the excitement and joy of their day was still present. It was so beautiful to witness.
We did couple photos and portraits in the courtyard of the Gillespie Center on a gorgeous fall afternoon.
Wedding Party Photos
Joined by their family, Crystal and Louie looked radiant as their children and grandchildren surrounded them for photos as well. What a beautiful wedding party, and so unique since it was made up entirely of their family.
Indoor Ceremony for this South Bend vow renewal
The ceremony room in the Gillespie Center was perfect for the guests that were invited, and included beautiful music from some very talented folks, and the original officiant who married them at their wedding.
Crystal and Louie’s ceremony was full of joy, tears, laughter and love, and what an honor it was to witness.
Dinner and Dancing and Toasts
The entrances to the reception were so lively and fun, and Crystal and Louie did a family dance together with their loved ones to kick off the party. After dinner, there were so many wonderful toasts, a cake cutting, and a birthday celebration for their young granddaughter.
Finishing out the night was a serenade and dance with Crystal’s sorority sisters, which brought tears to many eyes and made such a beautiful scene.
I wish Crystal and Louie all the happiness as they enjoy the next part of their beautiful marriage together. What an honor to photograph this South Bend vow renewal.
