With some extra time around the house these days, I wanted to start catching up on all the blog posts I’ve been meaning to publish! I had so many amazing sessions and weddings in 2019, and I want to put them out there. Making the most of this down time right now, and blogging is high on my list!
I met Mary through an Indianapolis networking event for women called Hive Indy, and immediately I was taken with her kindness and energy. She is so full of life, and when we chatted about me photographing her and her husband, Bryan, I was so excited to work with these two! They both have so much life, and their energy is full of kindness and authenticity. It’s so obvious they have a lot of fun, and you’ll see as you scroll through their couple’s session photos below.
We decided to meet in Fountain Square, with is one of my favorite spots in Indianapolis. So many awesome local Indy restaurants and bars and things to do, Fountain Square was the perfect setting for this fun husband and wife photography session. Mary and Bryan were preparing to move to L.A., so these photos were a little more sentimental as they prepared to say goodbye to their home in Indianapolis and head into a new adventure!
I wonder if people feel like they need a reason to have photos taken, and a lot of times they are for milestones like maternity and newborn photography, fall family photography, engagement photography, or wedding photography, and while all of these are so awesome and photo-worthy for sure, it’s also ok to get photos taken just because. Have photos taken in your city, like these two did in Indianapolis. Have your photos taken just for fun, just because, just to freeze the present moment forever. Know that all you need is your amazing self to have a reason to get photos taken.
And I hope that each of my sessions will always be full of so much love and fun like this one was. It still makes me smile every time I look through the photos. I hope you enjoy checking out some of my favorite photos from their session below!
