David and Nicole’s wedding day was so beautiful as they married one another at Brenneman Memorial and then had their reception at The Lerner Theater in Elkhart, Indiana. A lovely June Saturday set the tone for their elegant and timeless wedding day surrounded by their friends and family. Purple and Gold touches for their elegant wedding
The bridesmaids wore deep purple dresses and the bridesman had a matching vest. The groomsmen wore matching ties with their black suits. Everyone looked so sharp and elegant for this timeless wedding David and Nicole put together. Nicole’s bouquet stunned with purples, greens, and whites. Her wedding dress had lace embroidered touches, with a long train, and a layer of glitter within the beautiful fabric.
Brenneman Memorial was the wedding ceremony location
Starting with photos of the bride and groom with each of their attendants, a small outdoor courtyard made a lovely setting for Nicole and her friends. David and his guys got photos on the grounds of Brenneman Memorial for both fun and formal groomsmen shots. Having chosen not to do a first look, the couple was able to get photos with their immediate families prior to the ceremony as well.
The Christian ceremony was full of meaning and intention for David and Nicole
Honoring the faith they share, the pastor officiating touched on elements of faith throughout their ceremony. They said their vows, braided a cord with three ties to symbolize their Christ-centered marriage, and exchanged rings. There was singing of hymns and prayers of blessing in their beautiful ceremony before sharing their first kiss as husband and wife.
We shot wedding photos on the riverwalk in Elkhart Indiana
For wedding party and couple photos, we went to the riverwalk across the street from the Lerner Theater for a gorgeous setting. The summer colors of the trees and blooms complimented the colors of the wedding party so well, and I loved the perfect backdrop for their photos. Finished with wedding party photos, we wrapped up photo time with intimate couple wedding photos and utilized a lovely bridge for some couple photos.
The Lerner Theater made for a glamorous wedding reception location
The Lerner Theater in Elkhart Indiana was the reception setting, and the gold and purple touches were beautiful. Guests enjoyed hour de vours while photos happened, and the wedding party was announced in by the amazing DJ Doc Austin. After a plated dinner, the couple enjoyed a cake cutting that got exciting, and some of the most fabulous formal dances I’ve seen!
Open dancing commenced, with friends and couples dancing to the great music selection. More photos took place on the outdoor balcony, and there were so many special moments as the couple visited with guests.
We finished coverage with golden hour shots out in front of the Lerner Theater. The golden hour light was so soft for their photos. This wedding day was incredible with so many incredible people!
