These Syracuse, Indiana family photos were so lovely to photograph! Rachel reached out to me to see about photographing her family, parents, and grandmother for a family session at the childhood lake house she grew up visiting.
A Session full of memories
It was so special to photograph this family at the home they shared lots of memories in, as well as the lakefront they have spent so many summers enjoying. Syracuse is a gorgeous area, and it made sense to take this family’s photos in such a meaningful spot as well.
We did a mix of locations for these Syracuse, Indiana family photo
Starting with shots at the lake house, we got a great mix of groupings of Rachel’s family. I loved seeing the different generations present, and I loved grandma all the way down to the sweet kiddos.
Next we moved to some spots dear to the family in the neighborhood around their home, meandering along the sidewalks and tree-lined paths in the area.
We found a beautiful gazebo and dock along the water, and then finished up their session on the boat they have docked nearby. It was so sweet to get some shots of the bare feet and water.
