This family photo session in Granger, Indiana was so amazing because it took place in the very neighborhood I live in! My sister introduced me to Kristine last year, and Kristine reached out for family photos recently. She and Troy have three beautiful daughters and two amazing doggos, and I loved getting to photograph them at their home.

It’s so much fun to photograph families at their own homes, and Kristine and Troy’s gorgeous home was a perfect location for a family photo session in Granger Indiana. With a babbling creek, wide spaces, tall trees, and wooded areas, their backyard was a dream spot for family photos! Kristine coordinated their outfits so beautifully, and girls all wore matching cream lace dresses. Kristine looked lovely in a navy floral dress, and Troy looked sharp in a quarter-zip sweater.

The two older girls were so great with their one year old baby sister, and I loved getting the sibling shots of them on a blanket and around the backyard. I have boys, so when I get to work with girls, I love it so much! These kids were champs at family photos and were so great to work with!
I made sure to get some shots of mom and dad too
During family photo sessions, I love to make sure I get shots of just the parents as well. I’m a mama myself, so I know what life felt like before kids with my person, and I love to get some photos to help parents have a moment of connection with each other. It’s so special, and I loved Kristine and Troy’s chemistry. They were so comfortable with each other and it looks like they make such a fantastic team together.
