Wellfield Botanic Gardens is a great photo location
Nestled in the heart of Elkhart, Indiana, Wellfield Botanic Gardens boasts so many beautifully landscaped areas. There are walking paths, a Japanese Garden, water scenes and features, and a children’s garden. I absolutely loved taking family photos at Wellfield Botanic Gardens for the Powell family.

For family photos, I love to mix and match photo groupings. We capture the whole family, dad with kids, mom with kids, and all the little groupings in between. Tara and her family made so many beautiful groupings together.
I made sure to get some shots of mom and dad too
During family photo sessions, I love to make sure I get shots of just the parents as well. I’m a mama myself, so I know what life felt like before kids with my person, and I love to get some photos to help parents have a moment of connection with each other. It’s so special, and I loved photographing Joe and Tara together.
