This wedding at Fernwood Botanical Garden and Bread & Chocolate was beautiful. We had a lovlely and snowy November day for their wedding. I first met Chris & Nicole couple during a session when they were engaged, and they modeled for me in Downtown South Bend, Indiana. You can see that session here! I was so excited to work with them for their wedding as well, and they chose some lovely locations for their celebration.
A Ceremony at Fernwood Botanical Garden
Located in Niles, Michigan, Fernwood Botanical Gardens is a gorgeous setting for wedding photos and a ceremony. Being that it was a chilly November day, we kept photos brief, and it even started snowing during group shots. But every spot outdoors was gorgeous and a perfect photo backdrop. Indoors where Chris got ready was a small plant conservatory where we snagged some shots as well.
Nicole and her bridesmaids arrived for some getting ready in the Sims Education Center where their ceremony took place. Guests witnessed their ceremony as they shared their vows together.
A Reception at Bread and Chocolate in Goshen, Indiana
After family photos and wedding party shots, we made our way to Goshen, Indiana for their wedding reception at Bread & Chocolate. This stunning industrial brick venue was perfect for their dinner and party after their wedding ceremony. Located in the Old Bag Factory area in Goshen, this venue is a great option for weddings and receptions.
Dinner & Dancing
After a delicious dinner provided by Bread & Chocolate Catering, drinks from the bar, and indoor cornhole, guests enjoyed dancing and dessert to finish off the evening.
Snowy Photos in The Alley
Nicole wanted to get some couple photos in the brick- lined alley in front of the Venue entrance, and Chris really wanted some snow on his wedding day. They each got their wish, because we got some great night shots in the alley and mother nature gave us some lovely snow showers at the right moment. Night shots are a great alternative to sunset shots when either the timeline doesn’t allow, or there isn’t a true sunset on your wedding day!
I loved working with this amazing couple! This wedding was so much fun, and Chris and Nicole were so amazing to work with! I loved their Wedding at Fernwood Botanical Garden and Bread & Chocolate!
