I recently had the honor of attending a Grand Rapids Styled Wedding Shoot hosted by Wedding Day Magazine and EXL Events. This styled shoot was full of bright color, two amazing model couples, and a team of incredible vendors.
Vibrant and ethereal florals and decor
The florist put together gorgeous and vibrant florals with touches of hot pink, orange, and yellows. The tablescapes were incredible with touches of teal, champagne, and textured glass.
Two Stunning Model Couples
For this styled shoot, there were two amazing model couples who were so gracious as the photographers posed and guided them in each setting. With a tablescape backdrop, an aisle backdrop, and a bar scene, there were so many options for photos.
The venue for this Grand Rapids Styled Wedding Shoot
The venue, City Flats Hotel, in downtown Grand Rapids was the perfect setting for this styled shoot. With vaulted ceilings, archways, rich wooden batten board walls and marble touches, the whole feeling of the venue was so gorgeous.
Wedding Day Magazine did an incredible job
Did you know Wedding Day Magazine is a South Bend based wedding magazine resource? Kaitlyn is incredible, and I loved meeting her at the shoot! The magazine features midwest creatives, and is such a rich resource for couples planning weddings and events! I highly recommend checking out what they have to offer!
Why I loved this Grand Rapids Styled Wedding Shoot
As a creative, it can become a lot when work involves both the creative and business side. I truly believe it’s vital to my work to take time to be creative, and styled shoots can often be a great way to do so. The pressure of working with paying clients on a wedding day is taken away, and there is so much freedom to push into my skills and challenge myself to be more creative during a styled shoot. I am so grateful to have participated in this shoot!
