Bethany & Matt | Spring Elopement at Neidhammer in Indianapolis

I loved this spring elopement at Neidhammer in Indianapolis and elopements are a really lovely way to celebrate marriage in a simple way. I can’t wait to share some images from Bethany and Matt’s beautiful day!

Bethany and Matt wanted to elope, and found the perfect Indianapolis venue at the Neidhammer.

When I chatted with Bethany initially on the phone, she told me how she and Matt really just wanted to go down to the courthouse and get married by the Justice of The Peace, but because of policy changes, Indianapolis was no longer offering that service. Thankfully, they were still able to have the spring elopement they wanted, surrounded by their immediate families. It turned out to be a chilly April day, but the sun peeked out and their indoor space at the Neidhammer was perfect and gorgeous for their ceremony.

They gathered in the Washington Room at Neidhammer, and the officiant, Victoria of Marry Me In Indy! led them through a simple and touching ceremony that was so perfect. I love seeing couples choose elements for their wedding day that really fit them, and that’s exactly what Bethany and Matt did.

They met at work and one of them made the first move.

After their ceremony and family photos, we road the elevator down to the first floor and went outside to the lovely brick exterior of the Neidhammer, which also houses a coffee shop, to take some couple photos for just a few minutes. On the way back up, I asked Bethany and Matt how they had met, and it happened to be at work! They sat next to one another and were co-workers before they became more. They laughed as Bethany told me she was the one that made the first sweet move, and I could tell Matt was glad she did. What a beautiful match they make!

Their setting was perfect for a spring elopement at Neidhammer in Indianapolis.

The Neidhammer is a really cool historic, industrial chic venue on the east side of Indianapolis, and offers a variety of spaces that can accommodate both small weddings and intimate elopements as well as larger celebrations. The exposed brick and natural light spaces make lovely backdrops for weddings and photos, and Bethany and Matt’s simple elopement fit so nicely in the space.

Bethany wore a lace mini dress from BHLD which was perfect for the setting. The couple’s flowers were beautifully arranged by The Mom’s Garden. The staff at the Neidhammer were amazing to work with and so kind. I talked with Jennie, who provided bar service to guests. And John, the general manager was on site to execute the sound and music for their day.
