For Jess and Sean’s engagement photo session, we met at Hard Truth Distilling Co. and Brown County State Park. These locations were so beautiful and made for some stunning backdrops to their engagement session.
Jess and Sean enjoy being active together
Enjoying kickball together, and the outdoors, as well as beer, the locations we chose for their Brown County engagement session were perfect. Jess had some custom engraved beer glasses she brought, and they got to enjoy some drinks for photos. We explored the grounds of Hard Truth Distilling Co. together, and I loved all of the backdrops we found.
Once we headed to Brown County State Park, the stunning lake views and vistas overlooking the park were so beautiful. Jess changed into a blue dress and Sean wore a light blue shirt for their second outfit.
Sean is the main cook in their relationship
Sean went to culinary school and has had a background in the food service industry, and told me some of his favorite dishes to cook for him and Jess. He mentioned a risotto among other tasty sounding dishes, and I loved hearing how their kitchen dynamic is. Engagement sessions are so much fun as it allows me to get to know my couples a bit more and gives me a chance to learn about them and how they interact. Sean and Jess were so comfortable with one another, and I loved their dyanmic so much.
They are planning a winter wedding at Industry in Indianapolis
Industry is such a great venue in Indianapolis, and Jess and Sean are planning a wedding in January. They got engaged at Monument Circle this past winter, so a winter wedding felt right to them and will be something different. Midwest winter weddings are so beautiful and I love the location they chose for their wedding!
There was a chance of rain for their engagement session, but it held off
It’s always a bit nerve-wracking to have rain threaten a session, and I was keeping a close eye on the weather. Their engagement session at Hard Truth Distilling Co. and Brown County State Park showed a system on the radar that was heading straight for us. I packed my clear umbrellas just in case and we went ahead as planned. Luckily it only sprinkled a little bit, and we were able to enjoy the session without getting drenched!
