Working in Chicago has been such a dream as I’ve started getting more clients in Northwest Indiana and Chicago. Taylor and Milan live just outside of the city, but Taylor works in the city during the summer and they do all sorts of fun stuff downtown. So it made sense to do their evening engagement session in Chicago.
Taylor and Milan met me at the Chicago Riverwalk
The Chicago Riverwalk is so stunning, with so many options for photos and backdrops! It was a good spot too, since during the summer, Taylor works on one of the riverboat tours and knows the area well. We met and walked around to a few spots. Taylor wore a beautiful white dress, and Milan rocked slacks and a button-up. I always encourage couples to choose a couple of outfits for their session, so this first look for them was the dressy look and I loved it.
We moved to The Wrigley Building and some street shots
After the riverwalk, we got some stunning shots on the balcony adjacent to the Wrigley Building, one of my favorite locations in Chicago for photos right now. As we walked back to the parking lot, I got some good street shots as the sun was coming down low behind them for their evening engagement session in Chicago.
An outfit change and rooftop photos
Taylor and Milan changed into a second look for some casual option, and we met at a parking garage rooftop Taylor had found. It was the perfect setting as the sun began to set. Overlooking the city skyline, the colors were so, gorgeous. Taylor and Milan popped a special bottle of champagne to celebrate and toast, and we finished their evening engagement session in Chicago as the sun went down.
I’m so very excited for Taylor and Milan’s wedding, and it was such a joy to work with them!
